Beth Shalom inizierà il 2018 con un fantastico Shabbat il 20 Gennaio. Siamo davvero contenti e onorati di avere ospite per il weekend Rabbi Danny Rich, presidente del Movimento dell’Ebraismo liberale della Gran Bretagna.

Non vediamo l’ora di vedervi per questa occasione speciale alle 10.30 presso l’Hotel De La Ville, in via Hoepli 5.

Rabbi Rich è uno dei rabbini progressivi più conosciuti del Regno Unito. È stato rabbino capo e direttore esecutivo dell'Ebraismo Liberale dalla metà del 2005 ed è stato anche rabbino per la sinagoga liberale di Kingston per quasi due decenni. È uno dei presidenti del Consiglio dei Cristiani ed Ebrei, co-presidente del Consiglio Nazionale di Accoglienza per i Rifugiati e membro del Consiglio di Imam e Rabbini.

Le sue pubblicazioni includono: Liberal Judaism and Mixed Marriage (2004); Zionism: The Case for Fair-Mindedness On All Sides (2010); Muslim Perceptions Of ‘The Other’ (2011); Israel Mattuck: The inspirational voice of Liberal Judaism (2014); and Responding to the Call: A Life of Liberal Jewish Commitment [ed.] (2015).

Beth Shalom is beginning 2018 with an exciting Shabbat on January 20. We are pleased and honored to have Rabbi Danny Rich,President of Great Britain’s Liberal Judaism Movement as our guest Rabbi for the weekend. Rabbi Rich is one of the UK’s most prominent and well known Progressive Rabbis.Rabbi Danny Rich has been the Senior Rabbi & Chief Executive of Liberal Judaism since the middle of 2005 and was rabbi to Kingston Liberal Synagogue for nearly two decades.He is a President of the Council of Christians & Jews, co-chair of the National Refugees Welcome Board and a member of the Council of Imams and Rabbis.
